Softball
Calvary's softball team has been playing in the Suffolk County Lutheran Softball league since 1998. Our games in this Church league are at West Babylon town Hall on Sunrise Hwy. each Sunday during the summer, There are 10 other Lutheran teams in this league. We even made the playoffs a few times!
We have practices each Thursday at McVey field in East Meadow at 6:30 p.m. from March to September, and have a lot of fun.
Nat Giambalvo is our Manager, and Mike Funk is the coach. If you would like to join us in some fun, exercise, sun and fellowship, please just let us know. Our team is open to any (male or female) Calvary congregation member over the age of 18.
This year is shaping up to be one of our better seasons. We look forward to having you join us or even just coming down to Town Hall to cheer us on.
